Victory Garden!

I am an anglophile. For a while I was lucky to visit England every 2 years over a 12 year period - to study abroad for a semester in college, work in London for a summer, hike the Lake District with my Dad, and to see my Dad's choral group sing at Royal Albert Hall...My last trip was 11 years ago when I went with my sister and we cried across the country having just come off broken engagements - both of us!! Anyway, I've been really, really itching to go, and since we weren't invited to the royal wedding, hubby and I have decided to go next year to celebrate our 10 yr. anniversary. Anyway, I've been trying to put off the purchase of this pattern, but couldn't hold out any longer. I don't think there's anything cuter than the Union Jack. The quilt will be made, and may not look this pretty, but it will be loved, and remind me that a trip across the pond is coming!!
