DS quilt top done!

This type of patchwork is so fun to make, and so quick... And I love mixing all the Denyse Schmidt fabrics that coordinate amazingly well even though they are from a few different lines. I still have tons left over which I'll use for the back, and I started another with 9 in squares - and I'll have white trim between the blocks - (these are 12in) I look forward to making yet another later, with her upcoming lines mixed in.

I'm still working through my scraps - there are so many!! I was going to make a simple little baby quilt to put in the shop, but all these fabrics are so pretty, and some are the last that I have, so I think the quilt will become a small throw for me... :)

Here's the first of many to come - in a few different sizes... I've got a medium sized and little size already done, but not pictured. This one is 13.5 square, I think - the largest of the bunch.

Center Spin

Here's my latest quilt top following the tutorial for the "Center Spin" quilt from BHG Special Interest Publication "All Small."  I used the lovely "Folk Heart" line of fabric by Rosalie Quinlan.

A little catch up

I've been spending lots of time hand stitching all those appliques down, and now there's a back on it (the all over picnic fabric, which I LOVE) so now the hand quilting begins - stitch in the ditch I think, with a few ties here and there...

And here's a new strip quilt using "It's A Shore Thing" fabric - which I adore! (with a Japanese fabric in the middle)

And a "Dream On" strip quilt as well...
