A memory quilt made from sweet little baby clothes
My first commission job! But why did my picture load upside down?? Oh, how frustrating. Anyway, this is a very fun and challenging project - my first time straying away from safe quilting fabrics and dealing with stretchy clothes. Vellor is a nightmare! But, it's going to be really cute when it's done. At somepoint I have to do this for my own boys!

Would you like to be a Happy Camper?
Here's my new Happy Camper quilt (back first, and front second,) which soon will be on my etsy site: amandamcd.etsy.com
But, if it doesn't sell, I kind of hope to keep it as a baby quilt for one of my future (way in the future) grandchildren, as it's made from the same fabrics I made bed quilts for the boys. I Love it.

Wonky Log Cabin quilt
This project has kept me busy the last few days. Lots of flowery vintage goodness from the French Hatbox fabric collection, and so much fun. I've turned the diningroom into quilt central with a cutting station, sewing station, and ironing station. Four more blocks to go, then on to designing the back for this crib quilt.

A new beginning
My plan these days, when not being a great mom, and trying to get through the Twilight series, is to make as many quilts as possible in order to get them on my ignored etsy site. I have loads and loads of beautiful fabric to sew up, and there's a gorgeous new camera to puchase with quilt money.
